How often do we meet?
The committee typically meets every 8-12 weeks, with extra sessions scheduled before major events like the annual picnic or fishing competition. Meetings are planned to keep things running smoothly and ensure everyone has a voice in decisions.
What’s involved in being a committee member?
Committee members help steer the club by:
- Planning events (picnics, races, social gatherings)
- Overseeing budgets and fundraising
- Keeping members informed through newsletters and updates
- Discussing improvements for facilities and activities
It’s a collaborative role—your ideas and energy make a real difference!
Can’t make it in person?
No problem! You can call in remotely via video link, so even if you’re away from the inlet, you can still join the conversation and contribute.
